This course gives you several important benefits for your tumbling training. You will strengthen your skills in spotting gymnasts during complex combinations on trampette, gain insight into season planning, develop a more nuanced approach to your coaching, and achieve a broader theoretical understanding.

The course is designed for coaches working with junior, youth, and senior teams, where double somersaults on trampette are practiced – both with and without a vaulting table (pegasus) or other take-off equipment.

It is a prerequisite that you are confident in spotting Level 1 skills, such as somersaults, twisting somersaults, handspring somersaults, round-off flicks, and handsprings, which form the basis for progressing to spotting Level 2 skills.

  • Praktisk info

    You can expect that approximately two-thirds of the course will focus on safety, spotting techniques, and theory. One-third will focus on methodology related to technical skills.

    Theory and Practice
    We emphasize that you take an active part in the course and experience it in your own body. There will be a close link between theory and practice – in other words, theory applied in practice. This will be supported by clear examples, problem-solving, and reflection.

    Certification

    Multiple-choice test (specific questions related to the studied theory)

    Methodology test (case assignment focusing on the instructor’s methodological considerations)

    Practical test (assessment of practical skills in spotting)
