I alt 161 gymnaster fra 61 lande deltager ved dette års VM – dette er et historisk stort antal. Det er de to bedste gymnaster i Danmark som bliver sendt afsted, Josefie, der er Danmarksmester 2018, mens Nicoline blev nr. 2.
